The PING Cadence TR Anser 2 has graduated grooves which sets up a large sweet spot. Consistent across the entire face of the club. As a result it imparts an almost immediate forward roll on the ball. This helps with the delicate faster putts.
The Black model is firmer than the Blue insert. With the head being a little heavier, it helps the putter to release easier. Whereas the softer Blue insert seems to hold the ball for a millisecond. With minimal difference between center and off-center hits. It has great balance and makes ordinary strokes seem better than they are.
The Cadence TR has a classic Anser look with a matte black finish with a single white alignment line. The lighter model has a nicely contrasting blue insert, which helps to zone in on the sweet spot. Even though the models are different weights, the difference is minimal. The heavier of the two is the Black model, and is only 25 grams heavier.
